Senior Sport Management majors Chris DiGeronimo, Devon Maida, and Erik Nybro are long suffering
sports fans, who want to get things off their chest. Sports can bring both a lot of joy and a lot of pain to
someone’s life and Chris, Devon, and Erik have experienced it all. Joy and Pain Sports Show provides fans
with up to date sports discussions on all the local professional teams along with heated opinions on the
biggest sports news of the day.
Chris DiGeronimo is from Brooklyn, New York. He is a senior Sport Management major with a minor in
Economics. Chris is currently the Sports Editor for the Charger Bulletin and the Marketing Chair for the
Sports Industry Club on campus. Chris is a passionate New York Mets, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers fan. He is
not sure if he will ever see one of his teams win a championship. Chris is also part of the Charge-Up
which is a sports panel talk show where is discusses Charger Athletics.
Devon Maida is from Waldwick, New Jersey. He is a senior Sport Management major with a minor in
communications. He is currently the Music Director for WNHU and is also a DJ at the station. Sports and
music are two of Devon’s passions. Devon roots for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Toronto Blue Jays, Brooklyn
Nets, and the New Jersey Devils. You can catch Devon’s music show “Barrel of Funk” every Friday from
8-10 pm on WNHU. Devon is also part of the Charge-Up sports panel talk show.
Erik Nybro is from New City, New York. He is a senior Sport Management major with a minor in
accounting. Erik is a sports fan and he roots for the New York Yankees, New York Giants, Brooklyn Nets,
and New York Rangers. Erik doesn’t like to get to high or to low when it comes to sports because he
feels he is a “realist”.
